Children also at times experience difficulties and they can of course can benefit from counselling, although it is important to reach the child from a perspective they can understand and this often through 'play'. I offer therapeutic play and creative counselling to children and young people.
Children and young people can access a variety of ways of expressing themselves allowing them to explore emotions, problems and experiences.
I am a therapeutic play practitioner and I have worked with children and families for over 20 years. I have a special interest in Autism Spectrum Conditions, Neurodiversity, Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders, Sleep Difficulties, Selective Mutism and Social Anxiety.
What do I offer? I offer children and young people away of communicating through therapeutic play, creativity and art, relaxation, sandtray, puppet work, movement, creative visualisation, story and sound.
